Why We are Called Sunshine Slush When our Product is Called Sunshine Sno? Hint: Covid Changed Everything!

This is a question that comes up a lot and is valid. Why are our snow cone syrups called "Sunshine Sno" when our business is called Sunshine Slush. This is a fantastic question with a good reason. Our brand is named for the Sunshine State, but we had some bumps along the way.

So, we started out selling organic and plant-based color slushie drinks to a historic theater. In addition, we were selling slush drinks at big events like golf tournments, biking/exercise events, and music festivals. Unfortunately, we started our business in 2020!

As you can imagine, it was an extremely rough time to launch and business and then find out that Covid would shut down the world. We didn't know what to do because our business was to be out in the public selling our drinks. We actually sold organic slush and organic cookies with the intention to sell even more food. We had freshly come off being approved for food manufacturing and had been approved to sell in these venues.

We legally had already named our business Sunshine Slush when Covid hit. We ended up making the hard choice to pivot to selling snow cone syups online instead of shutting our business down completely.

So, when you scratch your head as to why as snow cone busines is named Sunshine Slush, trust me we get it. We weren't happy that we had to completely pivot our business, but the whole world had to adapt and we did too.
